The staff at the Lodge were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Our cabin in the wilderness was well-equipped and provided a peaceful and comfortable stay. We were even lucky enough to be upgraded to a spa suite. Exploring the nearby Cradle Mountain National Park was a fantastic experience, with abundant wildlife and beautiful scenery. The Night Feeding of the Devils was a highlight, witnessing these unique Tasmanian animals in their natural habitat. The extensive breakfast buffet was a great way to start our day. I highly recommend staying at Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge for a nature-filled getaway.

Spaciousness, ambience, location, efficiency in usage of facilities (i.e. well-planned), quietness of cabins and their incorporation into the environment
Temperature inside the Lodge facilites - unhealthily hot and stuffy.

Easy access to many different walking tracks. Closest lodge to Cradle Mountain itself. Comfortable bed, lovely gas fired fireplace. No TV. Great breakfast.
Buildings were looking a little old and tired. Only two places to chose from for dinner - one very expensive and the other cheap pub meals - nothing in-between for older families.

The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful nature and wildlife. We were able to take short walks right from the hotel and explore the breathtaking national park. The view of the lake from our room was just amazing, adding to the overall experience.
There were a number of negative aspects that affected our stay. our room had a strong sewer smell in the bathroom, which was quite unpleasant.

Surrounding mountains and environment, log fires, excellent breakfast, well-stocked bar. Warm room and free port was a nice touch on arrival.
Cabin decor was a little tired; also outlook directly onto trees right up to the porch, so a little clautraphobic given the cradle valley location. No wifi connectivity in the cabins, and no ipod docking station (only an old cd player) - which given there was no TV, was a bit limiting.

I loved the location, the layout of the cabins, the opportunity to mix walking, trekking with delicious food in the restaurant and its warm atmosphere.

We loved our stay. We were celebrating our wedding anniversay and on arrival they had left us a lovely bottle of bubbly and delicious chocolates which we truly appreciated. The staff were very helpful and friendly (especially Asha) and the breakfast was amazing. We loved the wildlife that surrounded the lodge and the fire going in our cabin. The beautiful walks are also a feature not to miss! We would definetly go back again and recommend it to anyone who likes a bit of luxury and is in need of some fresh mountain air.
I felt the restaurant was a bit over priced but the food was delicious! Also the price of their wine was very expensive! There is also a bar where you can buy meals that are well priced.

the convenience of being adjacent to the national park made it easy for us to explore the surrounding area and go on short walks right from the lodge itself. Our cabin was spotlessly clean and had a great shower for refreshing after a long day of activities. the variety of foods available at the breakfast buffet was a pleasant surprise.
The internet connection in the rooms and main lodge was not reliable.
